Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. Eligibility: The competition is open to all residents of South Africa aged 18 and above, excluding employees, agents, and subcontractors of Laundramax and KT Wash Detergents South Africa, their families, and anyone professionally connected with the competition.
  2. Competition Period: The competition will run from 30 October 2024 to 23:59 on 8 December 2024.
  3. Entry: To enter the competition, participants must purchase any LaundraMax at any retailer that stocks LaundraMax, upload their till slip on our WhatsApp line 073 582 0546. To better their chances of winning, follow or like Laundramax social media pages, tag three friends, and share the competition post.
  4. Prize: 40 winners will each receive a Midea Manual 20l microwave to the value of R1000.
  5. Winner Selection: Winners will be chosen at random by the Laundramax team. The announcement will be made on 10 December 2024.
  6. Winner Notification: Winners will be notified via direct WhatsApp and email Winners must respond within 24hrs of notification and provide their full name, email address, and postal address.
  7. Publicity: By entering the competition, winners agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by Laundramax.
  8. Limitation of Liability: Laundramax accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered as a result of entering the competition or accepting the prize.
  9. Data Protection and Privacy: Laundramax will use the personal details provided solely for the administration of the competition, unless consent for other uses is given. Personal details will be kept confidential and handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
  10. General: Laundramax reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of applicable law or regulation, or any other event outside of Laundramax’s control. Any changes to the competition will be communicated to entrants as soon as possible. Laundramax is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied by any third party connected with this competition.
  11. Governing Law: The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by South African law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
